Job summary

Fall River Public Schools is seeking a Paraprofessional at Edmond P. Talbot Middle School to support students and assist teachers in instructional activities.

The role emphasizes building rapport with students and staff while helping implement curriculum under supervision. Responsibilities include relating well with students, preparing materials, organizing instructional areas, and participating in staff development.

• Assist and work under the supervision of the teacher in providing individualized instructional services, preparing instructional materials, and organizing instructional areas.
• Be responsible to school principals for non-instructional duties within guidelines.
• Participate in program evaluations and needs assessment procedures.

SALARY AND TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT

In accordance with the Fall River Paraprofessionals contract. Employment is contingent upon job performance, program needs, and funding. Salary includes a 183 day work year, with 210 paid days per year (including vacation and paid holidays). Payrate ranges $24.75-$26.33/hour.
