Responsibilities

• Works with preschool students in instructional and non-instructional settings.
• Reinforces learning and collects data as directed by the teacher.
• Maintains confidentiality and ethical standards for student information.
• Completes duties as assigned by the building Principal.
• Willingness to be trained in positive behavior techniques.

Job Description

JOB GOAL: To work with preschool students with identified disabilities assisting them with all pre-academic skills, activities of daily living, daily routines, data collection and positive behavior supports.

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• 1.Works with preschool students and supports them in instructional and non-instructional settings.
• 2.Reinforces learning of materials or skills and collects data initially introduced by the classroom teacher.
• 4. Maintains a high level of ethical behavior and confidentiality of information about students as is expected of a fully licensed teacher.
• 5. Completes any other duty or assignments as directed by the building Principal
• 6. Willingness to be trained in positive behavior techniques.

• TERMS OF: In accordance with the existing bargaining agreement with the Somerset EMPLOYMENT & Paraprofessional Bargaining Unit.
• SALARY
• WORK YEAR: In accordance with the existing bargaining agreement with the Somerset Paraprofessional Bargaining Unit.
