Shenandoah County Public Schools is seeking paraprofessionals to support students in classrooms and on campus. Applicants must meet required education standards and be prepared to assist teachers across grade levels.
Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent. Two years of college or an associate's degree are acceptable; otherwise candidates must certify via the Parapro assessment with a 455 on the standard test, or achieve a local Parapro score of 450.
All Paraprofessionals must have a high school diploma or its recognized equivalent. Additionally, Paraprofessionals must be qualified through one of the following options:
