Job summary

Springfield Public Schools Campbell Early Childhood Center is seeking a Paraprofessional II to support infants through preschoolers in achieving developmental and academic goals. You will assist teachers with plans, prepare materials, and help with behavior and data collection in a supportive classroom setting.

Responsibilities include supervising activities, communicating progress to staff, and providing a safe, nurturing environment.

Qualifications

• Supports instructional program by assisting students from infants to preschool in meeting developmental, academic, and behavioral goals.
• Provides instructional support to individuals or small groups across developmental areas.
• Maintains confidentiality of student records and information.

Responsibilities

• Assist certified staff with implementing educational plans and lesson plans.
• Prepare instructional materials and support classroom organization.
• Monitor and report on student behavior and performance.
• Collaborate with the classroom lead and team members to support student success.
