Job summary

Brevard Public Schools is seeking a ParaProfessional to support classroom instruction at Riviera Elementary School in Palm Bay. The role involves assisting certified staff, supervising students, and participating in curricular activities during a 9-month contract.

Starting salaries are grade-based: $16.68 per hour (Grade 18) or $17.06 per hour (Grade 19) with a 6.5 hour workday from 7:30am to 2:30pm, and a required HS diploma with related hours or degree for progression.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 60 semester hours from an accredited institution with at least 30 hours in general education core or child development or successful ParaPro score 457+.
• Experience working with children in a classroom setting.
• ParaPro II requires an Associate degree or higher and experience with children.
• Valid State Driver's License required.
