Job summary

The Cottonwood School is seeking a part-time Paraprofessional - Arts to support engaging arts experiences for TK–12 students. You will assist with arts activities, student projects, instructional materials, and events under certificated staff supervision, contributing to the program's implementation across visual arts, music, dance, theatre, and media arts.

Under the direction of the Library Supervisor, this position supports the delivery of engaging, accessible arts experiences for TK–12 students at The Cottonwood School. This role is ideal for an individual who enjoys the arts, works well with students, and is eager to contribute to arts education. Under the direction and supervision of certificated staff and program leadership, this position assists with arts activities, student projects, instructional materials, events, and the program's overall implementation. The employee may support learning across one or more creative disciplines, including visual arts, music, dance, theatre, and media arts.

• Valid California Driver's License, proof of auto insurance, and access to a reliable personal vehicle for required work-related travel.

Travel & Driving Requirements

This position requires regular travel to various locations, including student homes, school sites, and events, to fulfill assigned responsibilities. Employees are expected to use a reliable personal vehicle for work-related travel unless otherwise assigned. Employees must maintain the required licensure, insurance, and driving record standards to perform essential job functions. Failure to do so may impact continued eligibility for the role.
