Job summary

Bendle Public Schools is seeking a Paraprofessional Aide to provide instructional, behavioral, and personal support under the direction of certified teachers and special education staff.

In this role you will assist with IEP goals, provide one-on-one and small group support, reinforce learning concepts, and help with classroom routines to promote inclusion and student independence in a safe, supportive environment.

Qualifications

• IEP and behavior support experience preferred.
• Ability to follow teacher and specialist directions.
• Ability to work independently with students.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing IEPs as directed by staff.
• Provide one-on-one or small group instructional support.
• Support students with behavioral interventions and positive behavior plans.
• Modify or adapt instructional materials as directed.
• Monitor student progress and document observations for teachers.
• Assist with personal care needs as required.
• Facilitate inclusion of students with disabilities in general education.
• Support transitions between classes and activities.
• Maintain confidentiality of student information (FERPA).
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and support staff.
