YOSS, Inc. is seeking a paraprofessional to support elementary classrooms at HSES-High Shoals Elementary. The role involves assisting teachers, supervising activities, and reinforcing instructional objectives with individual or small-group work.
The ideal candidate has a two-year degree or higher (or equivalent), along with a paraprofessional certificate or the ability to obtain one. Strong interpersonal skills and knowledge of child development are required.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS Education Two year degree or higher from an accredited institution preferred. High school diploma or equivalent and passed the GACE Parapro Assessment required. License/Certification Must hold a valid paraprofessional certificate issued by the Georgia Professional Standards Commission or be able to obtain such certificate. Skills Knowledge of child development; effective interpersonal skills; and knowledge of office and media equipment. Work Experience Experience in a licensed child care environment preferred.
Assist teachers and students by working with students individually or in small groups assessing performance, reinforcing instruction, motivating learning, assisting with classroom management, and other non-instructional functions.
