Ampersand Therapy LLC in Griffin, GA is hiring a full-time Paraprofessional for the 2026-2027 school year. You will support instruction, reinforce IEP goals, and help create a safe, structured environment that promotes academic progress and positive student development.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or two years of college, or HS diploma with Georgia Paraprofessional Certification.
• Valid Paraprofessional Certificate.
• School-based experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide instructional support to students with disabilities in special education and general education settings.
• Assist in maintaining a structured, safe, and positive classroom environment through effective supervision and classroom management.
• Support data collection, documentation, and routine record-keeping as directed by instructional staff.
• Prepare instructional materials, visual aids, and classroom resources to support lesson implementation.
• Perform clerical and organizational tasks, including maintaining classroom supplies and inventory.
• Demonstrate professionalism through punctuality, reliability, and appropriate workplace appearance.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff while maintaining a high level of customer service.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of student and school information in accordance with policies and regulations.
• Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and required professional development.
• Adhere to all district, state, and federal guidelines while supporting a safe and compliant learning environment.
