Job summary

The Menta Education Group in Gillespie, IL is seeking a Paraprofessional to support classroom instructors and staff in providing targeted teaching and student assistance across PK-21 settings. This is a direct-hire school position with hours 7:30am-3:00pm CT, Monday through Friday, following a school calendar.

Responsibilities include behavior management, safety supervision, and collaboration with staff to implement behavior programs and data collection.

Qualifications

• Paraprofessional experience is helpful
• Security or Juvenile Justice background is helpful
• Residential Youth Worker experience is helpful
• Military Veterans are encouraged to apply
• Ability to operate tactfully under stress
• Flexibility to change in routines
• At least 23 years of age
• Able to work with high-risk special needs students
• Good driving record and willing and able to drive student van is strongly preferred

Direct Hire with our school: Return school year after school year (no annual contract)
