Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Paraprofessional to work in school settings in Avon, CT. The role is a contract-full-time position at $20 per hour, 35 hours per week.

The Behavior Technician will support educational and behavioral services for students with special needs and collaborate with teachers and specialists to achieve learning objectives. Minimum requirements include a high school diploma, 18+ years of age, and compliance with health and safety screenings.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Two (2) years of pediatric experience preferred.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
