Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Paraprofessional to support educational and behavioral services in school settings in Amston, CT. This contract-full-time role offers 35 hours per week at $20 per hour.

You will collaborate with teachers and specialists to help students reach learning and behavioral goals while ensuring compliance with federal and state requirements.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years pediatric experience preferred.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.

The Behavior Technician works to facilitate educational andbehavioral services with children and adults with special needs andcollaborates with school professionals and other behavioral specialists toachieve learning and behavioral goals and objectives.

Minimum Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Two (2) years of pediatric experience preferred
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
