Job summary

Shearwater Recruitment Limited is seeking a Paraplanner for a permanent role offering £40,000 to £50,000 DOE. You will work closely with three IFAs, handling complex cases from research to suitability reports, covering pensions, investments, protection and cash flow modelling.

This is a client-facing position, with opportunities to attend meetings and contribute to shaping paraplanning processes. There is funded route to Chartered status, including paid study leave and exam funding, plus a

Qualifications

• Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (minimum).
• Strong knowledge of financial planning, investments and pensions.
• Excellent analytical and report writing skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities.

Responsibilities

• Support three IFAs, ensuring work is accurate and tailored to client objectives.
• Produce high-quality suitability reports across financial planning areas.
• Assist advisers on complex client cases from research to recommendation.
