Job summary

Gianola Financial Planning in Columbus, Ohio, is seeking a Paraplanner to support the Financial Planner with data entry, meeting prep, and client follow-up. This salaried role offers hybrid/remote flexibility, training, and mentorship, with no sales or AUM requirements.

Qualifications

  • Experience with Schwab, Advisor Engine, eMoney, Holistiplan, Hubly, ProConnect Tax preferred

Responsibilities

  • Under the supervision of a Financial Planner, gather and maintain client data

  • Update and model client information in financial planning software
  • Generate financial planning reports as appropriate
  • Complete trades and money movement in client portfolios
  • Enter data in tax software
  • Answer client inquiries as appropriate

Position Summary

The ideal candidate for this position possesses high attention to detail, strong written communication, and effective time management, combined with strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset.

This position is suitable for a candidate who enjoys conducting technical research and analyzing client data behind the scenes rather than leading client relationships.

In this role, you will support the Financial Planner with data entry, meeting preparation and client follow-up. You will develop expertise in financial planning software and firm processes. We provide training and mentorship to ensure success.

This is a salaried position with no sales, commissions or gathering assets under management.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
