This individual will play a key role in gathering and analyzing client information, preparing financial plans, supporting investment and planning recommendations, and ensuring advisors are well prepared for client meetings. This position offers a potential career path into a client-facing advisor role, with the opportunity to assume responsibility for a defined group of emerging-wealth clients as experience and capabilities develop.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with financial advisors to prepare comprehensive financial plans addressing retirement, investment, insurance, tax, estate, education, and cash-flow considerations.
  • Obtain and maintain the appropriate securities licenses required for assigned responsibilities, and monitor licensing and registration requirements for all advisors.
  • Develop proficiency in the firm’s investment research and trading platforms, and trade and rebalance client portfolios in accordance with approved investment strategies.
  • Communicate with clients regarding investment and allocation changes, provide relevant updates, and respond to investment-related questions as appropriate.
  • Facilitate money movement requests, including deposits and withdrawals, raising cash, transferring funds between accounts, and journaling assets, while following firm procedures and authorization requirements.
  • Gather, organize, and analyze client financial information, including assets, liabilities, income, expenses, insurance coverage, and estate-planning documents.
  • Enter and maintain accurate client data within financial-planning and customer relationship management systems.
  • Develop financial projections, scenario analyses, and planning recommendations for advisor review.
  • Prepare client meeting materials, presentations, reports, and planning summaries.
  • Assist advisors in identifying planning opportunities, potential risks, and appropriate strategies based on each client’s goals.
  • Conduct research related to investment products, retirement strategies, insurance solutions, tax considerations, and estate-planning concepts.
  • Coordinate with internal investment, operations, compliance, and client service teams to support the implementation of approved recommendations.
  • Track client action items and follow up with advisors and internal partners to ensure timely completion.
  • Maintain complete, accurate, and compliant client records and documentation.
  • Progress toward independently servicing an assigned group of emerging wealth clients, including leading review meetings, addressing ongoing planning needs, and coordinating with internal teams to implement recommendations.
  • Stay current on financial-planning practices, industry developments, regulatory requirements, and relevant technology.

  • 3+ years of experience in financial planning, wealth management, investment advisory services, banking, or a related financial services environment.
  • Demonstrated experience preparing financial plans, analyzing client information, and supporting financial advisors or wealth-management professionals.
  • Knowledge of retirement planning, investments, insurance, tax planning, estate planning, and cash-flow analysis.
  • Experience with financial-planning software, CRM platforms, portfolio-management systems, and Microsoft Office.
  • FINRA licenses, such as the Series 7, Series 65, Series 66, or related credentials, are preferred but not required.
  • CFP® certification, progress toward certification, or another relevant professional designation is considered a plus.
Salary Range
  • $70,000-85,000
