Job summary

Terac invites skilled mechanical engineers and CAD specialists to participate in a paid study focused on evaluating parametric modeling workflows and engineering modifications. You will build realistic models, document your modification tasks, and submit final files as FreeCAD work products.

Applicants should have professional experience with CAD tools and a solid understanding of mechanical constraints. Compensation is a $300 one-time payment, with flexible participation in this research effort.

Qualifications

• Professional experience in mechanical engineering or industrial design.
• Proficiency with parametric CAD software (SolidWorks, NX, Fusion 360, or similar).
• Ability to create and deliver native, editable FreeCAD files.
• Strong understanding of mechanical constraints and design history.

Responsibilities

• Review technical briefs for parametric modeling assignments.
• Design realistic mechanical models from scratch using proper constraints.
• Formulate specific engineering modification tasks based on your models.
• Export and submit all deliverables in the native FreeCAD file format.
