Job summary

AMR in Billings is seeking a Paramedic for a full-time position to deliver advanced patient care and lead on scene. You will respond to 911 calls, assess situations, and coordinate care with the team and medical staff.

The role requires a State Paramedic License, valid driver’s license, and current BLS/ACLS/NREMT-Paramedic certifications, with a preferred healthcare background and ability to work under pressure.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid State Paramedic License
• Valid State Driver’s License
• BLS, ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic certifications
• Clean driving record per policy
• Ability to pass Physical Agility Test
• Experience in healthcare setting preferred

Responsibilities

• Assess call situations and determine course of action per paramedic protocols.
• Operate medical equipment (defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen, suction, IV fluids) to deliver advanced care.
• Communicate with patients and families to provide information and reassurance.

Responsibilities

• Assess each call situation to determinethebest course of action while working with progressive Paramedic protocols.
• Utilize your Paramedic skills on medical equipment and procedures, including defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen and suction devices, and intravenous fluids to provide advanced medical care.
• Communicate with patientsand loved ones to provide information and assurance that care is being given.
• Act as Paramedic team leader and take responsibility for the scene and unit management as needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Work collaboratively and in a professional manner with all allied health and public safety personnel as well as yourfellow Paramedics.
• Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image and establish strong community relations.

MinimumRequired Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
