Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Certified Paramedic to join our medical emergency response team. You will provide prehospital care and protect clients across industries, including healthcare, government, and commercial real estate, while ensuring rapid, professional responses to medical incidents.

The role emphasizes patient assessment, EMS care, documentation, and collaboration with security teams. Full-time schedules, weekly pay, and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years old for unarmed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Have and maintain a state EMT Basic, EMT Intermediate, or Paramedic license.
• CPR certification for Health Care Providers or Professional Responders.
• Background check and drug screen as required by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license for driving ambulances.
• Public Safety Commission Certificate
• Puerto Rico Paramedic Certification
• Must have completed, or be able to complete post-offer EVOC 16 Hour Course.

Responsibilities

• Provide first aid and emergency care and coordinate transport.
• Deliver customer service following site safety procedures and policies; respond to emergencies.
• Respond to emergency dispatch calls and follow procedures.
• Provide EMT-based medical care.
• Assess nature and extent of illnesses and injuries.
• Document all medical incidents with a daily activity log for each shift.
• Complete an incident report for medical calls at the client site.
• Prioritize first aid procedures and request additional support when needed.
• Carry out regular patrols of facilities and perimeters.
