Qualifications

Valley County Health System is currently seeking a qualified candidate to work a Paramedicine / Nursing shift in Acute Care! This position is full-time, working 36 hours per week on the night shift. Qualified candidates must have 5 years of Paramedic experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient care in an efficient and effective manner.
• Collaborate with Medical Staff, management, and other healthcare providers to coordinate medical management of patient care.
• Provide emergency and inpatient treatment as needed.
• Demonstrate efficient time management and accurate documentation.
• Promote and ensure patient and staff safety in all aspects of responsibilities.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of Paramedicine.
• Currently licensed in the State of Nebraska.
• Hold BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications; TNCC certification is required and can also be provided on-site.
• Ability to multitask.
• Well organized and detail oriented.
• Experience documenting in an EMR is preferred but not required.
