Job summary

Metro Paramedic Services, Inc. is seeking a full-time Paramedic for our Wheaton contract to provide medical care and transportation for patients at the EMT-P level, within their scope of practice.

Starting base annual pay is $80,337, with Illinois licensing, CPR certification, ACLS/PALS (Metro will train), and successful completion of pre-employment physical, drug screen, and background check required.

• 21 years of age.
• Valid Illinois Driver's License.
• ACLS (Metro will train).

Responsibilities

• Provide medical care and transportation for patients at EMT-P level.
• Operate within scope of practice as defined by IDPH/EMS.
• Maintain patient safety and accurate medical documentation.

Metro Paramedic Services, Inc. contracts with local municipalities to provide Emergency Medical Services, Rescue and/or Fire Services. Much of our proven success is attributable to the exceptional, compassionate customer service provided by our employees.

We are currently seeking a full-time Paramedic for our Wheaton contract. Starting base annual pay is $80,337.The basic function of the Paramedic is to provide medical care and transportation for a patient at the Paramedic (EMT-P) level, within their scope of practice, as stipulated by Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) and/or EMS Commission of Illinois.

Paramedic Qualifications:

• Illinois Paramedic License
• 1 year experience
• CPR Certified
• 21 Years of age
