Metro Paramedic Services, Inc. is seeking a full-time Paramedic for our Glen Ellyn contract. The starting pay is $76,843.52 annually. In this role, you will be providing essential medical care and patient transportation at the EMT-P level as defined by Illinois guidelines.

Qualified candidates will possess a valid Paramedic License and have at least one year of experience. Various training and certification opportunities are provided by the company as part of the job.

Overview

Metro Paramedic Services, Inc. contracts with local municipalities to provide Emergency Medical Services, Rescue and/or Fire Services. Much of our proven success is attributable to the exceptional, compassionate customer service provided by our employees.

We are currently seeking a full-time Paramedic for our Glen Ellyn contract.Starting pay is $76,843.52.The basic function of the Paramedic is to provide medical care and transportation for a patient at the Paramedic (EMT-P) level, within their scope of practice, as stipulated by Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) and/or EMS Commission of Illinois.

Qualifications

Paramedic Qualifications:

• Paramedic License
• 1 year experience
• CPR Certified
• 21 Years of age
• Valid Illinois Driver's License
• ACLS (Metro will train)
• PALS (Metro will train)
• Illinois Firefighter Certification Preferred
• Successfully completion of pre-employment physical, drug screen and background check
