Job summary

AMR in Colorado is hiring Paramedics for full-time roles. The position offers a 12-hour shift pattern with a $12K sign-on bonus and relocation assistance depending on a 1-year commitment.

You will deliver advanced medical care using defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen, and IV therapy, lead scenes as required, and collaborate with public safety and hospital teams to ensure top-quality service.

AMR emphasizes compassion, accountability, and community outreach as part of daily responsibilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• State Paramedic License
• State Driver’s License
• BLS, ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic
• Driving record in compliance with company policy
• Pass Physical Agility Test
• Some work experience, preferably in healthcare

Responsibilities

• Assess each call situation to determine the best course of action while working with progressive Paramedic protocols.
• Utilize Paramedic skills on medical equipment including defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen and suction devices, and intravenous fluids.
• Communicate with patients and loved ones to provide information and assurance that care is being given.
• Act as Paramedic team leader and take responsibility for scene and unit management as needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Work collaboratively with allied health and public safety personnel and fellow Paramedics.
• Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image and establish strong community relations.
