Job summary

Baptist Health Lexington is seeking a PRN Paramedic to join our Transport EMS team. You will provide advanced life support care, respond to emergencies, and transport patients under medical director-approved protocols.

You will document care thoroughly and ensure vehicles and equipment are prepared and ready for every shift, maintaining readiness and safety at all times. The role requires active Kentucky Paramedic licensure, BLS, PALS & ACLS, a valid driver's license, and other state

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Active Paramedic license through the Kentucky Board of EMS.
• BLS for Healthcare Provider issued by AHA or ARC.
• PALS & ACLS certifications.
• Other certifications and specialty training as required by the Kentucky Board of EMS.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under department protocols and state scope of practice.
• Complete documentation and patient care reports within required timeframe.
• Maintain ambulance readiness, equipment, and ALS gear for each shift.

Education

Active Paramedic license (KY Board of EMS)

BLS for Healthcare Provider (AHA/ARC)

PALS & ACLS certifications

Other Kentucky EMS certifications
