Job summary

Medical City Dallas, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a Paramedic Transport to respond to emergencies and provide advanced critical care during hospital transport. As the first provider on scene, you will partner with firefighters and police to assess needs and deliver care.

The role requires ACLS, BLS, PALS, a valid driver license, and paramedic certification. You will operate EMS vehicles, evaluate patients, perform procedures, and communicate patient data to receiving staff.

Qualifications

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 6 months of start date.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) obtained before start date.
• PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 6 months of start date.
• Valid driver's license (DL) required and Paramedic certification.

Responsibilities

• Operate emergency medical vehicle and respond to emergent calls.
• Evaluate patient condition to choose appropriate care.
• Provide emergency medical treatment to injured or sick individuals.
• Perform invasive procedures under challenging conditions.
• Manage non-medical situations such as crowd control and protecting valuables.
• Lift and transport patients keeping them stable during transport.
• Communicate patient data to EMS or hospital staff upon arrival.
