Job description

Description

Why Join the TAUC Team?

Total Access Urgent Care (TAUC ) has been proudly providing top-ranked patient care for St. Louis communities since 2008. TAUC (pronounced "talk") began with the belief that patients should have access to fast, friendly, and affordable care. Our team is trained to offer a wide scope of services to patients, and our facilities are equipped with state-of-the-art onsite digital X-ray, CT scan, Ultrasound, EKG, and common laboratory assays. At TAUC we offer IV hydration, medication administration, laceration repair, fracture management, dislocation reduction, abscess drainage, and much more.

Position Highlights

TAUC Team Lead: We are looking for experienced Paramedics who have 2+ years of clinical practice and who are ready to take that next step into leadership. TAUC's Team Lead position offers the opportunity to expand your clinical skills while also participating in management training. Our fast-paced, high-acuity urgent care setting offers you the opportunity to participate not only in leadership training but also build your knowledge base in areas such as Occupational Medicine, Inventory Management, and CLIA certified laboratory services. This position also will allow you to enhance your skills as a trainer.

Requirements

To be considered for the Team Lead position, you should have the following skills, characteristics, and experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a clinical setting as a licensed Paramedic
  • Proficient clinical skills surrounding urgent/emergent care
  • Attention to detail to keep patient flow and the site running smoothly
  • Work self-sufficiently on assigned tasks
  • Effectively communicate in a positive, helpful manner with patients and team members
  • An interest and desire to mentor team members

We are an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to building an inclusive environment for all employees and patients.

Great Compensation Package: Start at $25/hr and attain $26/hr after completing Team Lead training (attainable in about 90 days). We also provide time-based raises and multiple opportunities for performance and training-related promotions. Employees are strongly encouraged to seek additional promotions and $26/hr is easy to accomplish within nine months (often sooner).

Expand Your Skills & Get Promoted: We provide opportunities to expand both your clinical knowledge and administrative skills. Our leadership team encourages our team to pursue performance-based promotions. Once your initial training has been completed, you will become a Team Lead and can pursue other areas of interest such as inventory liaison, training team, scribe, or even be assigned as the mentor to a group of employees.

Make a Difference: TAUC proudly provides compassionate, comprehensive care. Join the team to make your mark in healthcare.

Team Culture: You will join a team of emergency-trained clinicians including Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, Paramedics, EMTs, MAs, and more. We keep teams small, collaborative, and you will always report to a clinical employee who has proven their ability to succeed at TAUC.

Flexible Schedule:

  • Three twelve-hour shifts per week (36 hours) with full-time benefits
  • No overnight shifts

Full-Time Benefits: We offer medical, dental, and vision insurance, free care at TAUC locations for you and immediate family members, 401(k), PTO, and online ticket discounts, and Amazon Prime reimbursement or Sam's, Costco, or BJs base membership.

Earn More: Do you think that one of your coworkers is doing a great job? TAUC has an app that lets coworkers send each other bonuses. Employees receive an average of $500 each year. For simply showing up to your shifts on time, you can also earn experiences: tickets to a ballgame, a wine tasting, an art class, or whatever excites you.
