Job summary

Affinity Home Health Care Inc. seeks passionate Paramedics to deliver high-quality, compassionate emergency medical services in Beaverton, OR. You will assess emergencies, provide care with defibrillators, EKG monitors, and IV therapy, and lead scenes when needed.

You will communicate with patients and families, coordinate with healthcare and public safety colleagues, and drive ambulances during responses. Oregon Paramedic license and strong agility are required.

Qualifications

• EMT-paramedic with Oregon license required.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and PHTLS certifications required.
• Valid state driver’s license required.
• Completion of IC… 200, 700, 800 courses.
• Driving record compliant with policies.
• Successful physical agility test required.
• Healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assessing emergency situations and determining actions per advanced paramedic protocols.
• Providing medical care using defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen, suction devices, and IV fluids.
• Communicating with patients and families to offer reassurance and information.
• Leading scene and unit management as a paramedic team leader when necessary.
• Driving ambulances during emergency responses.
• Collaborating with healthcare and public safety personnel.
