Qualified candidates must possess a high school diploma or GED, a valid Maryland Paramedic license, and relevant certifications. This role demands physical endurance and the ability to make critical decisions under pressure.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• One year of experience as an active EMS clinician, EMT, cardiac rescue technician, paramedic, or U.S. military medic.
• Valid driver’s license and record of driving.
• Emergency Vehicle Operating Course Certification.
• Valid Maryland Paramedic license (or Accreditation for National Registry certified applicants within 30 days of hire).
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification.
• CPR Certification.
• Completion of MFRI Hazardous Material Operations Course within 6 months of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Respond to 911 calls and perform patient assessment.
• Provide Advanced Life Support care per Maryland protocols.
• Order supplies and equipment for the transport unit.
• Perform transport unit inspections and daily maintenance.
• Administer emergency care and lift patients.
