Metro Paramedic Services, Inc. in Rosemont, IL is seeking a full-time Paramedic or Paramedic/Firefighter to provide medical care and transportation for patients at the EMT-P level under IDPH/EMS Commission guidelines. This role serves on the Rosemont contract with local municipalities and offers comprehensive benefits.

The Paramedic/Firefighter will work within their scope of practice, with Metro providing ACLS/PALS training as needed to ensure compliant, high-quality EMS delivery.

Qualifications

• Paramedic license required.
• For Paramedic/Firefighter: Firefighter II or Basic Operations Firefighter Certification.
• CPR certification required.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Valid Illinois driver's license.
• ACLS training (Metro will train).
• PALS training (Metro will train).
• Successful completion of pre-employment physical, drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

Metro Paramedic Services, Inc.is a subsidiary of Superior Air-Ground Ambulance Services, Inc. We contract with local municipalities to provide Emergency Medical Services, Rescue and/or Fire Services.Much of our proven success is attributable to the exceptional, compassionate customer service provided by our employees.

We are currently seeking a full-time Paramedic or Paramedic/Firefighter for our Rosemont contract.

The basic function of the Paramedic/Firefighter is to provide medical care and transportation for a patient at the Paramedic/Firefighter (EMT-P) level, within their scope of practice, as stipulated by Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) and/or EMS Commission of Illinois.

Qualifications

Paramedic Qualifications:

• Paramedic License
• For Paramedic/Firefighter only: Firefighter II or Basic Operations Firefighter Certification
