Job summary

Metro Paramedic Services, Inc. is seeking a full-time Paramedic/Firefighter for the Rosemont contract.

The role includes providing medical care and transportation for patients at the EMT-P level within the Illinois scope of practice and IDPH/EMS Commission guidelines. Required credentials include Paramedic License, Firefighter II or Basic Operations certification, CPR, and a valid Illinois drivers license.

Qualifications

• Paramedic License is required.
• Firefighter II or Basic Operations certification required.
• CPR certification.
• 21 years of age or older.
• Valid Illinois drivers license.
• ACLS training will be provided by Metro.
• PALS training will be provided by Metro.
• Pre-employment physical, drug screen and background check must be cleared.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical care and transportation for patients at the Paramedic/Firefighter (EMT-P) level within the scope of practice.
• Operate within IDPH/EMS Commission of Illinois guidelines.

Metro Paramedic Services, Inc.is a subsidiary of Superior Air-Ground Ambulance Services, Inc. We are currently seeking a full-time Paramedic/Firefighter for our Rosemont contract.

The basic function of the Paramedic/Firefighter is to provide medical care and transportation for a patient at the Paramedic/Firefighter (EMT-P) level, within their scope of practice, as stipulated by Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) and/or EMS Commission of Illinois.

Qualifications

Paramedic/Firefighter Qualifications:

• Paramedic License
• Firefighter II or Basic Operations Firefighter Certification
• CPR Certified
• 21 Years of age
• Valid Illinois Driver's License
• ACLS (Metro will train)
• PALS (Metro will train)
• Successfully completion of pre-employment physical, drug screen and background check
