Job summary

The City of Dallas, Oregon seeks a licensed Paramedic to provide advanced emergency medical care and transportation services. You will operate emergency vehicles, perform ALS tasks, and coordinate with receiving facilities to ensure patient safety.

Applicants must hold an Oregon Paramedic license with good standing, complete an emergency driving course, and possess an associate degree in emergency services or related field. A strong commitment to public safety is essential.

Qualifications

• Oregon State paramedic license in good standing.
• Completed emergency driving course.
• Associate degree in emergency services or related field.
• Good standing with the Oregon Human Services Department, EMS and Trauma Division as a Paramedic/EMT.

Responsibilities

• Transport and administer care to patients as authorized by Oregon laws and city policies.
• Obtain report, determine illness/injury, and transport or refer as needed.
• Administer treatment on scene and enroute to receiving destination.
• Document care accurately and maintain required paperwork.
