Job summary

American Medical Response, Inc. is hiring Paramedics in Hillsboro, OR to deliver high-quality emergency medical care. You’ll lead scenes, drive ambulances, and provide advanced care with defibrillators, monitors, and IV therapy.

A current Oregon Paramedic license and multiple certifications are required, along with a valid driver’s license and solid driving record. We offer paid training, shift differentials, holiday pay, wellness days, and generous PTO accruals.

Qualifications

• Must hold an Oregon State Paramedic License.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current BLS/ACLS/PALS/PHTLS certifications.
• State Driver’s License with clean driving record.
• Ability to pass Physical Agility Test and ICS courses.

Responsibilities

• Assess call situations and apply Paramedic protocols.
• Provide advanced medical care using medical equipment.
• Communicate with patients and families to explain care.
• Lead the Paramedic team and manage scene and unit as needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Collaborate with health and public safety personnel.
