Job summary

Great River Health Systems in Iowa seeks an experienced Paramedic to provide advanced emergency medical care and transportation for ill or injured patients. You will perform high-quality patient care, document activities, and participate in quality improvement and training programs in a fast-paced pre-hospital setting.

The role requires active EMS experience, valid driver’s license, and current paramedic certification with ACLS, PALS, and NRP as well as BLS/First Aid.

Responsibilities

Responsible for performance of patient care activities, documentation, daily routine operations, continuous quality improvement activities, participation in educational programs and in services as well as performance of miscellaneous related duties. Effectively interacts with the patient, significant others, and other health team members while maintaining high standards of professional care.
