Job Summary

We are seeking a Paramedic to join our Emergency Department at Baptist Medical Center South. This is a PRN Nights position.

The Paramedic Will Be Responsible For

1. Assisting RNs in the Emergency Department with patient care, including activities of daily living.
2. Maintaining a safe environment.
3. Collecting lab specimens.
4. Monitoring Intake and Output.
5. Documenting in electronic medical records.
6. Working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

An active Registered Paramedic license is required.

Education Required: High School Diploma/GED

Preferred Education: Associate's Degree

Experience:

• Less than 1 year Hospital Experience
• Less than 1 year Transport Medicine Setting Experience
• Less than 1 year Patient Care Experience

License and Certification:

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
• Incident Command System (ICS) 300, 400 Preferred
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Preferred
• Licensed Registered Paramedic Required
