Job summary

Timpanogos Regional Hospital in Orem, Utah, is seeking a Paramedic PRN to join our team. You will support RN staff with initial assessments, provide patient and family education, and uphold infection control practices.

Qualifications

• Paramedic certification required.
• ACLS within 90 days of employment start date.
• BLS within 7 days of employment start date.
• CPI within 6 months of employment start date.
• PALS within 90 days of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Inform RN staff of patient chief complaint and symptoms for initial assessment.
• Assist RN and physicians with patient and family education.
• Follow policies to identify and reduce infection risks via PPE and procedures.
• Demonstrate knowledge across technical tasks and equipment operation.
• Perform IV starts, phlebotomy, EKGs, orthopedic skills, Foley insertion, and transporter duties.
