Requirements include a Florida Paramedic License and associated certifications (BLS required; ACLS preferred). High school diploma required; AA/AS preferred. The position is on-site at the Town Center ED.

Responsibilities

• Assist RNs in providing patient care and monitoring in a fast-paced ED.
• Support activities of daily living and maintain a safe patient environment.
• Collect and label lab specimens accurately.
• Monitor and record patient intake and output.
• Document all patient care in the electronic medical record.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality care.

Baptist Health is hiring a Paramedic to join our Emergency Department at Baptist Town Center

This is a PRN opportunity. At Baptist Health, a Paramedic in the Emergency Department plays a key role in supporting patient care and ensuring timely, compassionate service during critical moments. The Paramedic works under the supervision of a Registered Nurse to assist with patient assessments, treatment, and documentation in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Paramedic Job Responsibilities

• Assisting RNs in providing care to patients with urgent and emergent healthcare needs.
• Supporting activities of daily living and maintaining a safe patient environment.
• Collecting and labeling lab specimens accurately.
• Monitoring and recording patient intake and output.
• Documenting all patient care and observations in the electronic medical record.
• Collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure efficient and high-quality patient care.

Paramedic Experience

• High School Diploma Required
• Associate of Arts/Science Preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Preferred
• Florida Paramedic License Required
