The Emergency Department Paramedic, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) and Physician, provides direct emergency medical care to patients. Collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to deliver compassionate, quality, and cost-effective care within the scope of EMT-P licensure, as regulated by OEM, ADPH, and facility guidelines.
Education and Work Experience:
1. Current and valid paramedic license issued by OEM/ADPH.
2. At least 3 years of paramedic experience.
3. Current BCLS (AHA) certification, maintained actively.
4. ACLS certification within 30 days of hire, maintained actively.
5. PALS certification within 30 days of hire, maintained actively.
6. BVP certification within 30 days of hire, maintained actively.
7. Dysrhythmia exam score of at least 84% within 30 days of hire.
