Metro Paramedic Services, Inc. is seeking a full-time Paramedic for the North Boone Fire District #3 contract in Illinois. The base annual starting pay is $73,216. The Paramedic/Firefighter provides medical care and transportation, operating within the IDPH/EMS Commission scope.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience preferred.
• Basic Operations Firefighter certification preferred.
• CPR certification.
• Must be 21 years of age.

• PALS (Metro will train).
• Successful completion of pre-employment physical, drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical care and transportation for patients at the EMT-P level.
• Operate within the scope of IDPH/EMS Commission of Illinois.

Overview

Metro Paramedic Services, Inc. contracts with local municipalities to provide Emergency Medical Services, Rescue and/or Fire Services. Much of our proven success is attributable to the exceptional, compassionate customer service provided by our employees.

We are currently seeking a full-time Paramedic for our North Boone Fire District #3 contract. The base annual starting pay is $73,216.

The basic function of theParamedic/Firefighter is to provide medical care and transportation for a patient at theParamedic/Firefighter (EMT-P) level, within their scope of practice, as stipulated by Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) and/or EMS Commission of Illinois.

Qualifications

Paramedic Qualifications:

• Paramedic License
• 1 year experience- preferred
• Basic Operations Firefighter certification- preferred
• CPR Certified
• 21 Years of age
• Valid Illinois Driver's License
• ACLS (Metro will train)
• PALS (Metro will train)
• Successfully completion of pre-employment physical, drug screen and background check
