Qualifications

Position Summary:

Provides high-quality pre-hospital advanced life support as a paramedic representing Conemaugh while assisting EMS providers in the field via ground. Responsible for the treatment outcomes of patients across all ages, including neonates, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics, within the paramedic scope of practice as defined by Department of Health Guidelines.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a PA state-approved paramedic course with certification
• At least two years of active field experience as an ALS Provider with medical command status
• Current Pennsylvania EMT-P certification with EMSVO endorsement
• Valid Pennsylvania driver’s license with an excellent driving record and no restrictions
• ACLS, PALS, and PHTLS/ITLS (or equivalent)
• NIMS certifications (100, 200, 700, 800)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Neonatal resuscitation certification
• PEPP certification
• National Registry certification
