Job summary

The Village Center Community Development District seeks a Florida State Certified Paramedic to join the Public Safety team as part of the University of Florida Mobile Stroke Treatment Unit. You will respond to emergency and non-emergency medical calls, provide BLS/ALS care, and operate advanced medical equipment under medical direction.

You must have a valid high school diploma or GED, CPR/ACLS, and pre-hospital paramedic experience.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid high school diploma or GED.
• Initial medical/physical evaluations required with annual recertification.
• Two years of pre-hospital Paramedic experience.

Responsibilities

• Responds to medical emergencies and calls.
• Drives emergency vehicles and operates EMS equipment.
• Provides BLS/ALS care and assists EMS transport provider.
• UF Mobile Stroke Treatment Unit assignment duties and evaluations.
