Inspira Health Network seeks an ALS Paramedic to deliver prehospital advanced life support in the designated EMS service areas, responding to emergencies and providing age-appropriate care in the field and during transport.

The role requires NJ Paramedic certification, BLS, ACLS, and PALS, with strong time management and safety awareness. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is eligible; Inspira Health Network serves southern New Jersey with comprehensive services.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Preferred associate's degree or higher.
• Valid NJ Paramedic certification or reciprocity eligibility required.
• BLS certification required (AHA).
• ACLS certification required (AHA).
• PALS certification required.

Responsabilités

• Provides ALS care to patients of all ages in designated EMS service areas.
• Applies knowledge of growth and development across the lifespan in patient care.
• Accesses and interprets patient data to determine age-appropriate needs.
• Maintains safety and reports hazards or unsafe conditions promptly.
• Follows DOT, AHA, and NJ DOH guidelines for prehospital care.

This position is responsible for providing prehospital Advanced Life Support to victims of sudden illness or injury in the designated service areas of the EMS system and provides appropriate mutual aid assistance when requested by adjacent ALS services. The ALS Paramedic demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to patients of all ages, inclusive of neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults and geriatrics in the ALS and Critical Care environments.
