Job summary

Halton Region’s Paramedic Services Logistics Superintendent provides leadership for procurement, inventory, equipment and fleet support across 15 stations and 4 hospitals. You will oversee a team of Logistics Officers and ensure regulatory compliance, readiness and service excellence in a fast-paced healthcare logistics environment.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management or equivalent with 3–5 years of supervisory logistics experience, healthcare preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership: scheduling, planning, resource management, procurement and budgeting.
• Experience in supply chain management, inventory control, vendor evaluation and budget oversight.
• Experience coordinating equipment maintenance and repairs.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Teams, Excel, Outlook, Word).

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise Logistics Officers responsible for medical supplies, equipment, medications and fleet support across multiple sites.
• Provide workforce management, scheduling, performance oversight and staff development.
• Oversee procurement of supplies, equipment, medications and uniforms; collaborate with Supply Chain and Finance.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety and regulatory standards governing equipment and inventory.
• Collaborate with Energy, Fleet and Facilities, Architects and contractors on facility projects and energy initiatives.
• Support the Paramedic Fleet Coordinator on vehicle-related procurement and maintenance.
