Job summary

Lifeguard Ambulance Service in Prestonsburg, KY is hiring Paramedics for full-time or part-time roles. This position offers immediate start with an hourly wage starting at $20.50 and higher based on experience.

You will deliver compassionate, high-quality patient care and lead on scenes as needed. Responsibilities include on-scene leadership, using defibrillators and monitors, and collaborating with public safety teams to support patients and families during 911 responses.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• State Paramedic License required.
• State Driver’s License required.
• BLS, ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic certifications required.
• Driving record compliant with company policy.
• Pass Physical Agility Test.
• Some work experience, preferably healthcare.

• Act as Paramedic team leader and take responsibility for the scene and unit management as needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Work collaboratively and in a professional manner with all allied health and public safety personnel as well as your fellow Paramedics.
• Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image and establish strong community relations.
