Paramedic in Knoxville, TN

IMMEDIATE HIRING! FULL-TIME PARAMEDIC POSITION

We are seeking passionate Paramedics committed to delivering compassionate, high-quality patient care, including both basic and advanced medical procedures.

Responsibilities:

1. Assess each call to determine the best course of action, following progressive Paramedic protocols.
2. Utilize your skills with medical equipment such as defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen and suction devices, and intravenous fluids to provide advanced care.
3. Communicate effectively with patients and their loved ones to provide information and reassurance.
4. Serve as Paramedic team leader, managing the scene and unit as needed.
5. Drive the ambulance during 911 responses.
6. Collaborate professionally with healthcare and public safety personnel, as well as fellow Paramedics.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Participate in community programs to promote the company's image and build community relations.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• State Paramedic License
• State Driver's License
• BLS, ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic certifications
• Driving record compliant with company policy
• Ability to pass Physical Agility Test
• Healthcare work experience preferred
