Job summary

AMR in Oregon is seeking Paramedics to deliver compassionate, high-quality emergency medical services. The role covers advanced patient care, leadership on scene, and ambulance operation on 911 responses.

Candidates should hold a state Paramedic license, PHTLS or trauma certification, and current BLS/ACLS with NREMT-Paramedic credentials. A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Paramedic license or certification as required by state law.
• Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and NREMT-Paramedic certification.
• PHTLS or trauma certification is required.
• State driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Assess each call situation to determine the best course of action with progressive Paramedic protocols.
• Provide advanced medical care using defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen and IV fluids.
• Communicate with patients and families to provide information and assurance.
• Act as Paramedic team leader and manage scene and unit as needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel.
