Grady Health System is seeking a Paramedic to provide emergency EMS care and transport under established protocols. The role emphasizes readiness of vehicles and equipment, leadership, and high-quality, timely patient care.

You will be accountable for professional behavior, collaboration across teams, and exemplifying Grady's commitment to patient safety and service excellence in the Atlanta area.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Georgia Paramedic certification.
• Maintain current American Heart Association-Healthcare Provider Card for Basic Life Support (BLS) & ACLS.
• Must have a valid Driver's License and maintain an acceptable MVR.
• Must be insurable by the departmental provider at the standard rate.
• Knowledge of basic & advanced life support protocols and principles.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency care to patients per EMS protocols.
• Ensure EMS vehicles/equipment are ready for use at all times.
• Transport patients safely to/from locations.
• Demonstrate leadership and maintain clinical competence.
• Model excellent service behavior and responsiveness to staff, patients, and vendors.
