Qualifications

• Must hold a valid State Paramedic License.
• Must hold a State Driver’s License.
• BLS, ACLS, and NREMT-Paramedic certification required.
• Driving record compliant with company policy.
• Pass Physical Agility Test required.
• Some healthcare work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess each call to determine best action per Paramedic protocols.
• Use paramedic skills with defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen, suction, IV fluids for care.
• Communicate with patients and families to provide information and reassurance.
• Act as Paramedic team leader and manage scene and unit as needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel.
• Participate in community programs to support AMR image and relationships.
