Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written English.
• Experience with MICU level transports including IV Pump, Ventilator, and Cardiac Monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Respond to calls for emergency and non-emergency transports.
• Assess patient conditions and determine treatment courses.
• Provide first-aid treatment and advanced life support.
• Document medical care given to patients.
• Maintain and clean ambulance and station locations.

Skills

Ability to sit, bend and stand for extended periods

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Effective communication (English)

Education

State of Texas Paramedic license

2 years experience in Emergency Medical Services preferred
