Job summary

City Ambulance Service in Houston, Texas is hiring experienced Paramedics for full-time, rotating schedules. Earn a starting base pay of $77,096 per year, with potential to reach up to $93,856 based on experience, plus overtime opportunities and no cap on overtime.

Paramedics can make $105,248 to $128,128 per year when working 72 hours per week. Schedules include 48/96, 24/48, and Kelly shifts, with multiple station locations across Texas and surrounding areas.

Qualifications

• Must hold State Paramedic license (Texas or compact state).
• Minimum 2 years EMS experience preferred.
• Ability to sit, bend and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in high-stress conditions.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency and non-emergency transport calls.
• Assess patient condition and determine treatment per local protocol.
• Provide first-aid and advanced life support as required.
• Explain procedures to patients and relay information clearly.
• Transport patients safely in an ambulance and coordinate hospital transfer.
• Document care and maintain supplies and equipment.
• Maintain crew quarters, ambulance and station locations daily.
