City Ambulance Service is expanding its team of Paramedics in Texas, offering full-time rotating schedules and competitive pay ranges. Paramedics can earn over six figures with overtime and longer shifts, with no cap on overtime. The role requires a Texas license and MICU transport experience, with multiple station locations across Texas.

We seek experienced, dedicated team members capable of delivering advanced patient care and working effectively under pressure in a fast-paced EMS environment.

Qualificações

• MICU level transports experience including IV pumps and ventilators.
• Fluent English communication required.
• Ability to coordinate with others in stressful situations.
• Ability to stand and assist in high-pressure EMS scenes.
• Strong medical knowledge for emergency assessment and treatment.

Responsabilidades

About the Job:

Pay starting at $77,096/yr up to $93,856/yr (depending on experience) working a full-time rotating schedule.

Paramedics can make between $105,248-$128,128/year (depending on experience) by working 72 hours/week

No Cap on Overtime.

Schedule Types Available:

48 ON/96 OFF or 24 ON/48 OFF or Kelly schedule. Schedules vary by location and are subject to change.

City Ambulance Service is rapidly expanding our operation, we have multiple station locations in Houston, Dallas, Fort Worth, San Antonio, Austin, College Station, Odessa, Midland, San Angelo, Lubbock, Temple, Killeen, Round Rock, Beaumont, Port Arthur, Lufkin, Nacogdoches, Livingston, Corpus Christi, etc. We are currently looking to expand our team of Paramedics here in Houston, Texas and Surrounding areas. We are currently seeking experienced, dedicated and motivated Paramedics to join our team. We are looking for team members that can provide the advanced level of patient care that our patients and partners have come to expect from City Ambulance Service.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Respond to calls for emergency and non-emergency transports.
• Assess a patient’s condition and determine a course of treatment per local protocol.
• Provide first-aid treatment and/or advanced level life support to patients.
• Clearly explain procedures to patients, give orders, and relay information to others.
• Transport patients safely in an ambulance.
• Transfer patients to the hospital or other healthcare facilities.
• Report their observations and treatment to physicians, or other healthcare facility staff.
• Document medical care given to patients in a prompt and effective manner.
• Inventory, replace, and clean supplies and equipment after use.
• Maintain and clean crew quarters, ambulance and station locations daily.

Qualifications:

• Ability to sit, bend and stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs from ground to waist level.
• Ability to coordinate activities closely with others in stressful situations.
• Ability to effectively communicate Verbal / Written English.
• Ability to take direction and adapt to changing situations/job duties.
• Experience with MICU level transports including IV Pump / Ventilator / Cardiac Monitoring.
• State of Texas (or other compact state) Paramedic license REQUIRED.
• 2 Years experience in Emergency Medical Services preferred.
