Job summary

City Ambulance Service in East Texas is seeking experienced Paramedics for full-time, on-road roles across Texas locations including Lufkin. Rotating schedules (48 on/96 off or 24 on/48 off) with high earning potential and no cap on overtime.

Responsibilities include responding to calls, patient assessment, administering life support, documenting care, and coordinating care with hospitals. Texas Paramedic license required; 2+ years EMS preferred.

Qualifications

• Texas Paramedic license is REQUIRED.
• 2 years EMS experience preferred.
• MICU level transports experience (IV pump, ventilator, cardiac monitoring) advantageous.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English (verbal and written).

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency and non-emergency transports.
• Assess patient conditions and determine treatment per local protocols.
• Provide first-aid or advanced life support as needed.
• Explain procedures and relay information to team and physicians.
• Transport patients safely by ambulance.
• Transfer patients to hospitals or health facilities.
• Document care provided promptly.
• Inventory, replace, and clean supplies and equipment after use.
• Maintain and clean crew quarters, ambulances, and stations daily.
